Iona Miller to Thomas: "The Glass Bead Game meets … CICADA"

Nine months after the Gabriels' Glass Bead Game video, the same game shows up on the Cicada side. On March 7, 2019, Iona Miller emails Thomas ("Th Stg") a pitch under the subject "prisoner's dilemma," headed "POST-POSTMODERN BEAD GAME." It reads: "The Glass Bead Game meets Foucault's Pendulum at The Ninth Gate in Cyber-Space," and "CICADA strategically perturbs global society from hidden archetypal and Archimedean leverage points … CICADA operates along with objective history as a 'healing fiction'." Thomas forwarded it to me.

It sits beside a February 22, 2019 email already on this site, "Thomas and Richard Miller are partners in that endeavor along with Iona Miller," and beside Thomas naming Iona Miller on tape as one of Cicada's creators. The email shows the pitch; it does not show who, if anyone, built it.

"Defango better learn the RICO statutes" · "Dead Man's Switch 3"

On February 18 a video title brandishes RICO at Chavez. The next day, "Dead Man's Switch 3" reads out an enumerated list of named people purportedly contained in a file — "we have Lestat" — wrapped in the implied threat of release. Across the corpus: 135 litigation references, subpoenas he says he will cause, attorneys he says he is briefing, criminal referrals he is "sending over." Legal process shown as a threat, not pursued as a remedy.

"A definite machine that works on you"

The table above counts the method from outside. Beth Bogaerts, the fourth-most-named person in the corpus, described it from the receiving end on a public livestream. What she describes matches the steps counted above: first the swarm, then the rescue, the dog whistles, the threat to rewrite who she is, and years of harassment after she asked to be left alone.

She also says she sued him and "won on all counts" on summary judgment, including extortion (00:16:05, 00:21:13, 00:44:22). That is her description of her own case. This page hasn't seen the judgment, so it stays her claim here. I recognise the rest. The swarm followed by a rescuer, the song written "for" someone, the threat to recast you as part of Q: I got the same treatment from 2018 on (Chapter 12, Chapter 15).

Her private emails, police reports and court filings are not reproduced here, with one carved-out exception marked in chapter 09b — that she filed stalking complaints with Napa PD in 2019 and forwarded them to me asking they stay private (the fact of the forwarding and the "please don't share" line, not the content of the reports) — and a second quotation from a June 23, 2019 reply at chapter 09b, kept to a single line that is the structural point in her own voice. Personal allegations about her family are left out.

"Don't you go thinking you can hide Dilley"

The same pattern, aimed at the researcher. When Laura Dilley blocked an account calling itself "AU/PH Cicada 3301", it posted a screenshot of her block page with a devil emoji. The Cicada name worn as a threat is exactly what this file's witness chapter was fought over. Who runs the account is not established here.

"Praise for Arturo"

Amid hundreds of attack videos sits one crediting this author with "integrity" for a correction. The attacks resume within days. It is not a departure from the campaign; it is part of it — the hot-cold cycle that keeps a target engaged and hoping. Chapter 12 calls the same mechanism the honor trap.

"I am not Q" — and the historian of Q

Throughout, he denies being Q while claiming privileged knowledge of "at least three Qs," separating a "real Q" said to come "directly from Langley" from a "fake Q," and casting critics as CIA-style "Q slayers." One move does three jobs: it legitimizes the mythology, installs him as its authority, and pre-discredits anyone investigating him. The corpus is that architecture being built in real time.

"Universities always pay"

A later recording, transcribed in the corpus, in which a speaker describes his own suit against Michigan State University in the first person. The machine transcript labels speakers only by number; the identification rests on what he says — "I'm suing Michigan State University," and the plaintiff in that case is Schoenberger.

Set beside the 2020 corpus, the throughline is plain. The litigation brandished as content for nine months arrives as a filing described, by the person filing it, as a settlement play against an institution with money — not a case he expects to try. And the author is named in it as the researcher, which is to say as the reason the paper is attackable, while not being a party.
